Wow. It kinda \*is \*that too isn’t it? Too funny, I’ll never be able to read these books again without thinking _Roman Legions… Pokemon_.

I saw him at a [convention](http://www.condfw.org)here in Dallas recently, and it was a hoot. He talked about many things related to the Dresden Files, and the Codex series, and while he didn’t mention the underworld much (no one asked), we did learn about some of the other things Cecil mentioned. Such as, “who builds a sports stadium with no parking? Seriously!!”
Also:

[li]Elaborating on Chicago over KC Missouri, apparently Laurel K Hamilton already uses MO, another reason his instructor forbid it.[/li][li]“Dresden Files” wasn’t his idea, he was going to go something like “Dresden Chronicles” or something a bit more fantasy sounding. His publisher said, “How about Files? Like Rockford Files?”[/li][li]He’s very into RPGs. In fact, the Codex series plot was playtested on a group of his friends.[/li][li]On which note, he mentioned he’s running a different game now that’s the seed for a new series of books. He wouldn’t say anything about it.[/li][li]His writing method involves sitting on his sofa with a laptop, and the TV tuned to really bad movies. Good movies, and he’d be distracted. Of course, as Cecil’s column demonstrates, bad movies work their way in too.[/li][/ul]
I think the biggest bombshell was the Pokemon revelation. It totally changed how I think of the Codex universe. Not in a bad way, but definitely a weird way.
