# Chicken à la king. Eww, or Yum?

Well said. Before I opened this thread, I had no idea “chicken à la king” was just fricassee. I like it.

“Just like mom used to make” is not a great selling point with me or my sister.

It sounds like something I’d like. I suspect we never had because the original recipe has green peppers, which my mother will not eat, cook, or even touch. I will give it a whirl sometime in the next week or so, and vote after that.
