# chicken fingers

Short story long… Growing up there was 1 chinese food in the area, I did not like the food there. (now I love it, just not that place) anyhoo everyone always ordered chicken fingers and called them 007 . Question is, is that a regional thing calling them 007’s or a restaurant thing …obviously their number on the menu at some point. Have you ever called them 007?

I wouldn’t count on it. if its on any of the chinese menus here, and I don’t think it is, it’s cordened off in some “american food” section with maybe hamburgers or other stuff for people that don’t like chinese to have if they’re dragged there with a group.

It’s certainly not the 7th thing on any of the local menus.

Ed: Just checked and at the place I had tonight #7 on the menu is “chicken broccoli” in a combo (w/ fried rice & egg roll) and no chicken fingers in sight.
