Yeah, a bit of a stretch, I guess. I suppose his [actual claim](http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/0055/0055_01.asp) is merely that the fact that Piltdown Man was a fraud is one of several “amazing findings which are rarely made public”. I’ve always taken the implication to be that Piltdown Man is still considered part of the case for evolution.
