All I know is, $135 US is $180.77 Canadian at current exchange rates. Two more rolls of nickels and I’M THERE. I’ll sleep on a bench at Lincoln Park or summat. (Seriously, if I can work a family visit into that time frame, and can convince ms.'vark to let me go play with the scary net people, I’ma try to be there. Further bulletins as events warrant.) ---

Reserve early! And I swear I will call Reza’s and see what kind of arrangements we can make there, as soon as I’m thinking about it at a time when a) it’s not in the middle of their lunch or dinner rush, and b) nobody is busting into my office every 30 seconds. I’m going for a) cheap and b) flexible, so hopefully nobody who wants to watch their pennies will have to shell out bucks for a fixed package dinner. Also, if there is enough interest, I might be convinced to lead an excursion on Sunday evening to the Uptown Poetry Slam. It’s great fun – sort of the _Gong Show_ of free verse. It’s at the Green Mill, a jazz club originally founded as a speakeasy and once owned by Al Capone. Post here if you’re up for it! Saturday afternoon plans uncertain, as I may be working, but there shouldn’t be any problem with dinner, drinking and revelry. **Gundy** , I’ll be taking the train out to your place Friday; I presume directions will be posted later.
