It’s been a while. Any suggestions of venue? In town or suburban? Any takers? My ethnicity is Suburban, but I’m open to suggestions. ---

The last one I attended was at D’Agostino’s in Wrigleyville. That seemed to work well. ---

Am I invited? ( please say yes ) ---

I’m always up for this sort of thing. Pick a date and place, I’m pretty flexible. ---
**Author:** ![dropzone](https://sea3.discourse-cdn.com/straightdope/user_avatar/boards.straightdope.com/dropzone/32/7515_2.png) [@dropzone](https://boards.straightdope.com/u/dropzone)\ **Post date:** [October 14, 2017, 3:05am UTC](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/chidope-fall-2017/798699/5 "2017-10-14T03:05:17Z")
But putting a date and time would require that I was responsible! I only threw out the idea. Someone more responsible should organize it. ---

**In!** …as long as it’s not the last week of October 'cause I’ll be out of town… ---
**Author:** ![dropzone](https://sea3.discourse-cdn.com/straightdope/user_avatar/boards.straightdope.com/dropzone/32/7515_2.png) [@dropzone](https://boards.straightdope.com/u/dropzone)\ **Post date:** [October 14, 2017, 3:18am UTC](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/chidope-fall-2017/798699/7 "2017-10-14T03:18:17Z")
Does anyone wish to organize it? I’m just a West-suburban idea man conceptualizing it without the slightest idea of appropriate venues. ---

I organized a couple of Chicago dopefests a few years ago. D’Agostino’s was perfect. I’d prefer the city over the burbs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ---

I’d go if it were D’Agostino’s. I don’t have a car to get to the suburbs. ---

Depending on schedule, I’ll try to make it! I live in the western burbs, but work downtown, and can get to pretty much any location. ---

Western burbs, but with a car. If I can park the Longest Car on Earth, or can pay some sucker to try, I’m in. ---
