Hey - what a coincidink… The Ladybug and I are going to be in Chicago starting tonite (10/23) thru Sunday. Just because. Because neither of us have ever seen the place. And cuz we heard it was a good place to eat pork products, ride trains, and get some culture. We used up a buncha Hyatt Gold points and are staying at the Regency! Woo Hoo! I can’t promise anything on this short of notice, but if I am in the neighborhood tomorrow at 1pm we’ll drop in Stocks and Blondes for a beer or something with you all. ---

Yippee! My boss will be in the jungles of Belize for the next 10 days, so a) she can’t even call in and torture me, which means that b) I get to go to lunch whenever I damn well feel like it! Anyone for pork nipples? Pork and nipples seem to be the main conversation topics around here today, so why not combine the two? ---

I just realized I suggested a day for lunch that I can’t actually make. Originally I suggested Thursday, December 4th, but I have a doctor’s appointment at 1:45. Will Friday, December 5th work for people instead? We might want to pick a different venue, though, since it was so crowded last time on a Friday. And yes, I am an idiot.
