So gentlemen, you’re saying all we have to do is figure out how to gene-splice you guys together, and we’ve got Super Hottie Dude? Hey **porcupine** and **jeevwoman,** do y’all know anyone at work who’s up to the job? (Of course, now I’m picturing **Zanshin** in top hat and tails, tap dancing to “Putting On the Ritz,” and \*_Dinsdale_ as Gene Wilder, singing “Sweet Mystery of Life, At Last I’ve Found You…” It’s quite distracting.) ---

All right, who ordered all this friggin snow? ---

> [@monster](#): > > All right, who ordered all this friggin snow? \ Sorry. I thought when I ordered Chinese last night, I had remembered not to ask for extra snow. My apologies. ---

That’s all right, Zanshin, it’s a common mistake. So you guys will recognize me, I have on a black turtleneck with dark khaki pants. I’m short, with brown hair and eyes. I’ll be one complaining about the snow. 🙂 ---

Hey monster! So you can recognize some of us: I am short, with short brown hair, green/gold eyes and am wearing olive pants and a velvet orange striped shirt. (Yes, really.) I won’t be there till about 1:15, though. Maybe even later in this blizzard. \*\*jeevmon \*\* is 5’8" with black hair and eyes and wearing grey pants with a red sweater and a black blazer. And I can’t tell you what **Eva** is wearing, but she is short with lots of curly, dark (pretty short) hair. Are we reserved under the Adams party? How many are we? ---

Drat you! Why didn’t you TELL me you were going to wear your velvet orange striped shirt today?! Well, at least we won’t have any trouble spotting each other! Expecting anyone to have made reservations - or even conducted a head count - is presuming WAY too much organization. Of course, you never know what those LJ addicts are up to… Never been inside this Hackney’s, but have run past it several times. It ain’t exactly huge, so it shouldn’t be too impossible to find each other. We usually hang around the entrance for a while to see who shows up before sitting down. I’m on the tall side - will be wearing a dark brown leather and blue and grey boxers. Please tell me **Gundy’s** biking it today! ---

I hope everyone made it back to work okay. I actually had WORK to do when I got back. The nerve of my boss! ---

Sorry, guys - I was sick as hell today and barely got near a computer, just drank as much tea as I could stomach and coughed. I feel like crap and have to see 3 patients tomorrow, sigh. ☹ [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/chidope-lunch-bunch/232659.md?page=2)
