**ts** , we will definitely be doing stuff on Friday night! I will have the kids until Anne gets off work so I will be available after 5:30 or so. Before then I can most likely pick up a few people at the airport and shuttle around a bit as long as you don’t mind driving with my kids! ---

I’d like to second **MikeG** suggestion of going to Phoenix in ChinaTown for Dim Sum for pre-Dope-festivities. It will set a good base of grease for the alcohol to follow later. 😃 As far as drinking location, Chief O’Neill’s sounds good, too. Despite my bitching earlier, I don’t much care as long as it meets the minimum criteria of being in the city and having enough room for us in the Beer Garden. If **MikeG** says it’ll work, that’s good enough for me. Knowing **MikeG** and **VileOrb** , they’d be more than happy to scope out every Beer Garden in Chicago 😉 (And frankly, I wouldn’t mind helping - _hint hint_) But that would take a while, and we should probably decide this within the next week or so, if not sooner. ---

Good score, **MissC**! That sounds almost ideal in terms of loaction, but check on parking for this place, remember, there is a Cubs game that day. Resi’s would be great for Friday night. Another reason for choosing another venue is food. If you love sausages and schnitzel, you will love Resi’s! If you dont…ummm…they have a tossed salad that only has a little sausage in it 😉 Actually they even have a _Wurstsalat_ which is a green salad with shredded bologna in it! Talk about no options for vegetarians! The Sheffield House makes an ideal base for a Wrigleyville pub crawl as well! **MikeG** ponders…Is that the place up by Grace where Sheridan and Sheffield run into each other?? hmmmm, I may have to go by and check it out Sun eve. ---

Al at Sheffield House said parking is hard 'Course what do you want for $57? My sister used to live in that area and I’d park blocks away and cab it to her house if I was spending the night. Being a suburban girlie myself, I’m planning on staying getting a room. Al will hold 11 rooms for me until 12 CST after that he is releasing them. Okay, **Shadow** and I are booked at the Sheffield House, ready for whatever the weekend brings. Now, is there a parking facility close where I’d be able to park my car for the Saturday/Sunday? We’re planning on getting into town around 2:00 or so, maybe a little earlier. Will that work? Who will meet us stranded orphans or where should we meet you? ---

Okay, I found this website that has some information on the hotel. Does anybody have any idea what the neighborhood is like? I love you guys, but I’m not staying in Cracktown for anybody. ---

I used to live around there. It’s not cracktown. It’s just south of cracktown 😃 It’s actually a very cute sort of street. I don’t know anything about the hotel itself, but I don’t think it should be a nightmare. jarbaby ---

Is anybody else planning on staying at the hotel? Rather, are any of the men staying at this hotel? I guess I would feel better about walking around that neighborhood if we had a strong, burly manly man escorting us around. 🙂 ---

My sister used to live right around there, and I thought the area was pretty yuppiefed Jar-I haven’t lived in the city for a while but Sheffield House is south of Irving Park, so I don’t think its too bad, is it? I’m only staying Sat night because I can’t get anyone to watch my dogs for 2 nights in a row! ---
