A conspiracy theory?
If I were working on the appeal, I would argue that the introduction of the child pornography, and the additional, legal adult pornography - some 100,000 images in total - was error. It was far more prejudicial than probative. And the fact that the defense invited the error by asking the prosecution’s computer expert about the rest of the images is, I would argue, ineffective assistance of counsel.
I wouldn’t hold out much hope for that argument to fly, though.

Stoid, perhaps the insect evidence was wrong, or perhaps she wasn’t quite dead when he dumped her. I think far more compelling was evidence that she had been in his home and motor home, and that a drop of her blood was found on his clothing. Can you explain that? I know I couldn’t. If it came down to weighing bugs vs. physical evidence, the evidence wins IMHO.
