To add to the car commercials, “Long Beach Freeway, Firestone Exit, Southgate Pete Ellis Dodge!” complete with a bouncing ball over the lyrics. My older brother worked at Jack in the Box for a few years in high school and I feel like there was some jingle we always sang but the only one I can remember is Jj Jack JjJack Jjack Jack in the Box You’re really cookin’ now Did they have another, well known song? ---

In the late-'70s we had a neighbour from the Philippines who thought the Cal Worthington commercial jingle was saying ‘Pussy Cal’. There was a Doper who got his or her username from the same mis-hearing: **PussyCow**. ---

I’m sure many around my age, who grew up in the 70’s, will remember this classic Calgon Detergent Ad: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJP5f-fsHrs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJP5f-fsHrs) But, what I wonder is, just how long this ad ran? Over the years I’ve heard people, stand-up comics, etc… make reference to it “Ancient Chinese secret…” and many much younger than me, get the reference. Did it run through the 1980’s? through the 90’s? ---

Re the Robert Conrad battery commercial, does anyone remember one of the old variety shows - I think it was Carol Burnett - where they spoofed this and when the guys says “I dare you to know this off my shoulder” he get’s punched in the face? ---
