# Children looking for birth parents

Are there websites devoted to this, places to post messages or info about yourself or what you know about your birth parents,or in this case parent, in hopes of tracking down a mother or father?

There are. Unfortunately there are TONS of them, some free, some not. There are also people who check all of them and if they find suspected birth parents on one board and a suspected adoptee from said birth parents on another, will offer to hook you up, for a fee. The biggest ones I know of are adoption. com and ancestry .com. This is how I, adopted at birth, eventually got hooked up with my siblings and half-siblings.
