[http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/Maps/10/285\_-35.php](http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/Maps/10/285_-35.php) I was amazed at the number of earthquakes on this map. I went to a written list of the quakes and looked at the data. Feb 27: 70 earthquakes that day starting with the 8.8 quake. 0 quakes at 7.0 or more 8 quakes at 6.0 or greater 56 quakes at 5.0-5.9 6 quakes less than 5.0 Feb 28: 56 earthquakes with a range of 4.6 - 6.2 1 quake at 6.2 39 quakes at 5.0 - 5.9 16 quakes less than 5.0 Mar 1: 28 earthquakes with a range of 4.5 - 5.8 15 quakes at 5.0-5.8 13 quakes less than 5.0 Mar. 2: 21 earthquakes with a range of 4.6 - 5.5 11 quakes at 5.0 - 5.5 9 quakes less than 5.0 I don’t know if this trend will continue or if they are still at risk of another large earthquake. 175 earthquakes in 4 days- "a whole lotta shakin’ (still) goin’ on!
