# Chinese Ghosts can't touch women's underwear?

I recently watched the Hong Kong movie _Where’s Officer Tuba_, starring Sammo Hung, and in it on of teh characters is a ghost. Hung is trying to prove the ghost is real, and the only way they can prove it is to put women’s pantyhose over the ghost so he will show up to the other people. The ghost agrees, but mentions that if he does so he will not be reincarnated. (Eventually he doesn’t have to do it) Is this from Buddism or something, or just made up for the movie? Are ghosts forbidden to touch women’s unmentionables?

That’s a new one to me. Though my specialty in the supernatural is obsessive-compulsive vampires, with a minor in Necromancery. (Necromancy?)
