People are saying that video is a fake, it was a video made as a joke and that his actual death wasn’t on video. ---

With these building-climbing daredevils always filming themselves, I’m surprised there are not more fails captured on video. I don’t seek them out, but this is the first one I have actually seen of someone falling. ---

When Ueli Steck died this year on Everest, I was sad - but he was an incredibly talented climber doing what he loved, and for the ability to do what he could do I’d gladly have exchanged my own lifespan for his. I did not have those feelings watching _this_ video. ---

Horrible, horrible video. I mean, shot in vertical format with blurry borders, then replayed with a horizontal flip to make it look like different footage. Just awful. ---

To be honest, if no-one ever died from these stunts, they wouldn’t be that impressive, right? The risk of death is why people find them fascinating, and if there’s never any death, there isn’t any risk. ---
