I agree it gets comical, and it’s kind of stupid that the waiting period itself has become an indicator of the relative Hall of Fame-yness of the players. Although it seems to me that nobody cares about how long the guy had to wait after he gets inducted anyway- it’s just talked about a lot before he gets in. ---
