There seems to be an ongoing debate out there in the pool/spa world regarding the use of chlorine vs. bromine to sanitize spas. I’ve been told that bromine “makes you crazy” but have found no studies indicating neurological damage as a result of bromine use in spas. Some people recommend chlorine becuase it oxidizes as well as sanitizes. I want to use a chemical that is the safe, efficient, and easy to use. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.
