Most of your local coffee shops will probably carry them, as well as variations. I haven’t encountered any really bad tasting ones, it depends on the brand of chocolate used. I fourth, fifth, and sixth the dark chocolated covered beans. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, \. It’s not quite as good as sex, but it’s cheap, portable, and you can enjoy them with your clothes on. Hmmm, sex _and_ dark chocolate espresso beans. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I’m heading over to Nib’s coffee house tonight, I’ll make sure I pick up a bag. ---

I scoured all over Target looking for them earlier today but to no avail. Finally gave up and headed to Starbucks and found a bag…I do believe I have officially given up sleep for the next 50 years. ---

Oh… I don’t know. I must not eat 'em right. I chew 'em up, swallow the melted chocolated and then I’m left with a mouthfull of coffee grounds. Ecch. ---

They don’t actually have that much effect on me. And I’ve had an idea - well, **Gyrate** had the idea, in [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&postid=4115532#post4115532) of chocolate covered espresso bean cookies. Yummm… ---

I got hooked on those years ago. I love 'em like nobody’s business. A word of caution, though: I made the mistake of eating a quarter-pound bag in one sitting and it gave me a bitch of a stomach ache. ---

So, how does this work? Are they really crunchy and not too threatening to one’s teeth, or do they have the consistency of, say, a raw almond? In any case, I feel really inspired all of a sudden. 🙂 ---
