Go for something stereotypically ethnic, preferably an ethnicity that you’re not a member of. That’ll mess with some minds. Think Nussbaum, Chang, Palowowski, O’Shaugnessy, Al Feyaad, Standing Bear. ---

My husband has been trying to get us to change our last name to Shark since we’ve been married. After rejecting it numerous times, he’s suggested we add the letter ‘e’ to the end, because Sharke looks so much more serious. ---

Ordheim. Andheim. 😃 More seriously - any other family names such as a grandparent? Pick something where the accent isn’t on the first syllable. My first name has the accent on the second syllable, and my maiden name and my married name both accent on the first. So it’s bah-BAH BAH-bah-bah which doesn’t flow well at all. 90% of people call me either BAH-bah, or bah-BAH-bah, as a result. ---

How about no last name at all? Just like [Teller](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teller_(magician)). Not many people legally have just a single name. I think that wouuld be cool. ---
