I, too, prefer the charcoal flavor, but 30 minutes to set up and 45 to cool down for 10 minute of grilling means I often use the propane and wood chips for grilling. (About 60/40) I was about to get a Weber kettle and smokenator when I received the WSM, but I have a deck that can fit both.
