# Chorus riff stolen from Ziggy Stardust? Or vice versa?

I just dusted off my copy of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, and when it got to Ziggy Stardust I had a strange feeling of “double deja vu”. Of course, I knew I’d heard the famous chorus riff in that very same song, but I had a sneaking suspicion that I’d heard it somewhere else too! In fact, I vaguely remember playing it in Guitar Hero II.

So, here’s my question: Did some other famous rock song rip it off? Or did David Bowie rip it off of someone else?
