# Chorus to The Sounds by Waking Lights

I recently came across the song “The Sounds” by Waking Lights and it really grabs me, but I can’t quite understand the words to the chorus. I’ve googled it, trying to find lyrics but came up empty.  
Does anyone here know where I can find the lyrics to the song or, failing that, does anyone know what it’s saying in the chorus?

Guessing:

I like the way its time for us to tear it down  
Smile and wave - the world will still be turning 'round

Pretty close. Could be “turn it down” vs. “tear it down” and I am not sure about the first few words…

Listening to it loud enough to make my ears bleed today, I THOUGHT it might say:  
“Out of the way, it’s time for us to tear it down  
Smile and wave, the world will still be turning round.”

But I’m not 100% sure.
