Kids in sports are always encouraged to have a backup plan, a career they can turn to after their knees are shot. The dirty version was a 10 on the BBQ Pit scale and I thought we should invite him over. The clean version shows that Mr Kluwe has chosen to be the bitchiest bitch who ever bitched when he grows up and we may not be worthy of his magnificence. My top hat falls off to him. ---

I’m resurrecting this slightly moldy thread, because I just heard Chris Kluwe on Wait Wait, Don’t Tell Me yesterday, and I’m smitten. Loved the letter, love that he’s in a band and enjoys WoW, and he just seems like an all-around charming guy. I agree that he needs to be a Doper - he’s my new favorite athlete (replacing my previous favorite, nobody). Edit: I posted before I read the sanitized version of the letter, and my admiration just increased approximately 16%. ---
