The Romans passage does not condemn homosexuality. It says that God made some people have gay sex as punishment for worshipping idols.
Maybe the truck was going to hit a bus full of orphans if somebody didn’t drive into its path.
I can’t say exactly for I am not Him nor His prophet.
Which would mean homosexual sex is punishment, not reward.
Not much of a punishment if you’re gay.
I must admit the whole scenario comes across like some gay guys making excuses to some really credulous believers.
Guy#1: “Why no Elder, we didn’t want to indulge in such debauchery with other men! It was horrible, I tell you!”
Guy#2: “A curse! A terrible curse!”
Guy#1: “Yes, that was it! We we cursed to such immoral acts for worshiping false idols!”
Elder: “Then why were you seen indulging in sinful acts with each other again last night?!”
Guy#2: “Well, there were a lot of idols…”
“We must be punished even more!”
Neither. I didn’t know the guy, so I can’t grieve, but even with his Goebbels-like tactics, I sure as heck won’t celebrate his gruesome death. Bin Laden, yes, but he was more than propaganda.

I was talking to my Mom a couple days ago, who’s something of a fundy, and she brought up this guy dying. I only heard of him before from this thread. She was going on about what a wonderful gift of prophecy this guy had, and I said something like “Too bad he didn’t have a prophesy about his upcoming need to wear a friggin’ seat belt.” She was unamused.
Then I said something like how it wasn’t meant to be a joke, but to point out what BS it all prophesy crap is. Which was a lie, of course I also meant it as a joke.
