There was a series in 2000 AD about 10 tears back, Canon Fodder, where the titular hero was indeed a Canon, but also a judge/jury/executioner type too, like a religious Judge Dredd if you will. here you go
I want them to TPB that as well, its one of the best stories 2000AD ever did.
Marvel’s Infinity Crusade divided the heroes into two groups: one religious, the other not so much. Didn’t necessarily say what specific religions the heroes were but it gave some sort of insight at least.
