Christianity is irrational, but is being a Christian?

It also does not say that he only came to save Israel. Mt 15:21-28. He only says that he was “sent” to the lost children of Israel.
In other passages, of course, he speaks of the house of his Father having “many mansions” while referring to non-Jews, (and, in some interpretations, non-Christians), and in a somewhat parallel passage to the one from Matthew to which you alluded, Jesus speaks to a Samaritan woman, (John 4:4-42), and talks about both Jews and Samaritans giving up their practices and worshiping the Father in the same way, then goes to the woman’s village to preach to the Samaritans for two days.

Then one erases the words of Jesus to the non Jewish woman, if Jesus did say,as he was quoted in the Bble I read, I came only for the lost sheep of Israel, then the two writings are contradictory and one can choose what writing they desire.

We have no proof that any of the sayings of Jesus are correct, or were added by the translaters( or writers) after the different books were gathered, and since the translations were done by several monks etc. much could have been added, and since some writers like Thomas (who was an apostle of Jesus)writings were not included; one can take, or not, what was true or not.

It comes across to me, that one monk didn’t read, or have any idea what another wrote down, so that is why there is so much contradiction in the Bible.And possibly why the RC church put more importance on tradition.I Believe because Constantine was head of the Roman empire that is why the RC Bishop of Rome( at the time) was declared head of the Church. and since Peter was in Rome used his linage. Am I correct…I don’t know ,but that is how I see it, since so much of the Church’s teachings were of fear and guilt, I think this because of the Inquisition and the Crusades and the churche’s actions at that time.

In the BibleI just read to be sure, the words are in Marrhew15 verse 24.“But he answered and said” I was not sent except for the lost sheep of the house of Israel." I would think since this was taught for many centuries it would mean that was his purpose in coming!
