My first choice would be [Sarah Lancaster](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0484178/) from Chuck. I also happen to think that [Ryan McPartlin](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0574131/), also of Chuck, would have made a great Captain America. ---

I have to agree with the height criticism. Sure you can change hair color and build but if you try to make someone look taller through movie magic you just make it more glaringly obvious that they are trying to make someone look taller. I call this the Tom Cruise Effect. ---

Of course, I seem to recall that one of the rules of casting for that show was an embargo on women taller than her. That said, I think she’s probably too old. Wonder Woman should be perpetually 27. I hate myself for thinking that. Somebody slap me. ---

Which is not to say that I wouldn’t want her to play a super-hero or super-heroic character. Add some tricky camera angles a la the hobbits in _Lord of the Rings_ or Hagrid in _Harry Potter_, and she’d be a wonderful She-Hulk. But Wonder Woman, though unquestionably a mature woman (more mature than Jenny) is supposed to look under thirty. ---

Every time a actress gets even mildly well known there is a rumor that she is either in talks to play, or wants to play, Wonder Woman. :dubious: ``` I just wish they would make a Wonder Woman movie, even with some no name, just so the flavor of the month can spread rumors that she "in talks" to play some other role. ``` ---

Hendricks would need to drop 20-30 pounds of fat and put on at least 5-10 pounds of muscle to do the role justice. Go for it, say I. ---

Is Joss Whedon still attached to this? I thought he wanted Morena Baccarin for the role? Anyway, I’d vote for Sarah Lancaster. She looks like Wonder Woman now, without costume and makeup. She could pass for Lynda Carter’s daughter. ---

I’ve put Christina Hendricks in the same category as Megan Fox, as in I’m not really sure what all the hype is about. She has pale skin, a short torso, ridiculously ugly feet, and a sort of fatty pudgy body. She’d be a terrible choice for Wonder Woman in my opinion. Wonder Woman needs to be tall (about 6’0") and physically imposing with a strong yet feminine voice and enough muscularity that it actually looks like she could take on Superman. She’s not supposed to look like a porn star. ---
