Grace Slick outlived McVie? 😲 That’s _very_ ironic. Jefferson Starship and Fleetwood Mac were a huge part of my high school music Their music was already moving to the Oldies station but I still loved it. RIP Christine ---

Eva Cassidy cover of Songbird made people fans of Eva’s music. That was several years after Eva’s death. It shows just how well McVie crafted Songbird. The melody is rich and compelling. A good cover of it helped launch anothwr artists career. Christine wrote it for piano. Eva switched it to a very nice guitar part. I love both versions.
