There was a surplus of pizza! My guys sister and mom got me presents! Even though my son and I never celebrated christmas, other than decorating, I find myself inexplicably missing him tonight, differently from every other day. Also love you guys here. Specially Beck. ---

Years ago at church I had the reading from the second chapter of Luke. I was SO tempted to end it with “And that’s what Christmas is all about Charlie Brown” instead of the usual “Here ends the lesson.” I chickened out though and will regret it forever. Hope everyone is having a blessed Christmas. ---

Went out to a fancy Indian restaurant to celebrate my Son’s 19th birthday. Bittersweet since that also means not celebrating his twin sister, who passed away in January. ---

My strategy of leaving the cart at the end of the aisle and going down and back to grab my food paid off IN SPADES this week. Merry Christmas, Dope and Dope 'uns! ---

I got in my car and spent an hour driving around town looking for cool displays of Christmas lights. I didn’t see anything amazing early on, having done minimal research, but I eventually blundered into a couple of really dazzling spots.
