Fuck all a yall that have already been running Christmas shows (looking at you fucking Hallmark Channel, not that your stupid romantic comedies set at Christmas are worth watching at any time) or playing Christmas music, running Christmas ads, whatever. Just fuck you. That is all. PS-I am not a Scrooge, and I love Christmas, but I love it at the appropriate time and that time does not start on November 1st. Or even earlier for some of you fuckwads. ---

If we must have Christmas, the first we hear about it should be December 15th. I’d prefer it simply disappear. We’re skipping it entirely this year, and Id I have my way, every year thereafter. ---

I got no problem with Christmas as long as it stays in December where it belongs, but the whole “Hollowthanksmas” thing drives me up the wall too. ---

I only noticed the Best Buy commercial last night because I found seeing a Christmas ad during a baseball game jarring. The nice thing about having made the transition from shopping in stores to shopping on-line is that I no longer go shopping just after Labor Day and see all the Christmas merchandise in the aisles. Because of this, starting the Xmas advertising blitz in November feels like an improvement from years past. Although I’m not looking forward to shopping at the local Market Basket once they fully gear up for the season because in past years they’ve played holiday music that they must have bought from the 3/$10 CD basket at Walmart. It has literally driven me out of the store on at least one occasion. ---

August 12th. That’s when I was in the supermarket & first noticed the Halloween candy setup. Labor Day is pushing it, but Aug 12th? Last week, Target had Halloween stuff in one aisle & Xmas stuff in the next one & this Sunday morning, before 10am, the local grocery store was packing up all of the Halloween stuff (as opposed to putting it on sale) & already had the pallets of Xmas stuff in the aisle, waiting to be unloaded. ---
