Run Run Rudolph by Chuck Berry is a favorite of mine.
There’s also “Little Saint Nick”, by the Beach Boys.
I kinda like the David Bowie/Bing Crosby version though its not purely Little Drummer boy
I didn’t know that. We grew up listening mostly to Bing and Sinatra’s classic Christmas albums. I don’t think I’ve ever heard Judy’s Christmas music. I’ve only heard O Rainbow and that’s about it for her. That’s thirty years before I was born.
Was Bing the first major star to do Christmas in Killarney? I only know that song because of Bing. It’s not anything we ever sang caroling or even heard on the radio. Only heard it on Bing’s C album. (we’re not Irish and missed out on any regional Irish singers that do it).
There’s so much tradition in Christmas music. I imagine whatever people grew up with is what they love. Even for me Bing’s music is very old. He died when I was in elementary school. I barely remember his last tv Christmas specials. My parents watched him and Perry Como every season.
Garland first sang “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” in the film “Meet Me In St. Louis”, in 1944.

And, although it’s been recorded by others, “Blue Christmas” is undisputedly assoicated with Elvis.
The Chipmunk Song. (Has there even been a cover version?)
The Braxton sisters (well, Tamar and Trina) did one but it sucked.
It’s not the original, but I really like this version of A Midnight Clear by Sam Phillips.
Christmas Time is Here Again- The Beatles.
That song by Slade is UK’s most popular and Brits are tired of it but it’s unknown in America.
