More information in: Apparently he had a cardiac arrest, fell into a coma and died. Sounds like it happened within the last few days. ---

To face such a monumental adversity with his unrelenting courage and optimism, Mr. Reeves was a great hero to me. Truly, a Superman. ---

Can’t say I’m entirely shocked … it is very difficult to keep a high-level quadraplegic alive long term. I think he lived longer than most people with his sort of injury. None of which removes the sadness. The loss of anyone is tragic. ---

There must have been an attempt to restart his heart following the cardiac arrest and a coma resulted. Coma not likely following cardiac arrest otherwise.
