# Chronically damaged mail - any suggestions

I live in the country, and my mailman doesn’t fold anything. If he has a box and it won’t fit, he puts it in my car, if it’s there. (I never lock my car) Before I fenced in my yard for the dogs, they’d put packages on the front porch, but they’ve said they aren’t allowed to go into a yard if the gate is closed. In fact, my mailman has stopped on his way home and delivered a package that came in after that day’s sort. He drives past my farm on his way into and home from the PO.
