In the past we’ve had posters use this as a rhetorical device to abuse other posters and accuse them of lacking the courage of their convictions. It’s a jerk move we have decided to no longer allow. Hasty justification from the mods there. Even if it’s a jerk move to harangue people for not betting – and sure, that makes some sense – that implies a rule against haranguing people, not a rule against betting.
