I believe it is called “Dragostea Din Tei” by O-Zone (originally by Haiducii). I might be wrong on the artist, but I’m pretty sure on the song title. ---

Just when you think it’s finally gone…😃 The song is _Dragonstea Din Tei_ by O-Zone. It was a hit on the other side of the Atlantic last year. Catchy, ain’t it? ---

The band is O-Zone, and the song is called Dragostea Din Tei (I don’t know what that means or even what language it’s in). The song can be found on iTunes by searching Ma Ya Hi. ---

It’s Romanian, and means “Love From the Linden Trees”. It’s basically a guy begging for his girl’s love via cellphone or something like that. ---

Dragostea Din tei, it was a big hit on the other side of the atlantic and southamerica last year. An spanish humorist band “translated” the lyrics into spanish creating another instant hit “Pluma Gay” that is an hilarious song about getting out of the closet and proclaiming to the world your homosexuality. Pretty funny ---

Actually, I believe O-zone released the song first in Romania, then Haducii released it in Italy and a dispute about copyright infringement ensued. ---

**Scott\_Plaid** , we don’t allow printing of full song lyrics. A verse or two, that’s within Fair Usage, but providing the entire song is a potential violation of copyright. The Chicago READER, our sponsor, doesn’t want anyone copying their material, and therefore they are more stringent than the strict law might require in not allowing others to copy material on these boards.
