I think your underestimating how much violence the Most Interesting Man in the World has been involved in. Michael Bay bought the film rights to his life story, but eventually gave up trying to make the movie because “there were just too many explosions” ---

If you can’t see Chuck Norris, you may be seconds away from death. \*\* TMIMITW: \*\* If he were to punch you in the face you would have to fight off the strong desire to thank him. Bulls flat out refuse to fight him. **Analysis and decision:** Chuck Norris is a bad ass. TMIMINW is a bad ass without seeming like he’s a bad ass. In my mind, being a bad ass while making people still like you is an amazing skill. So for me, TMIMITW wins. ---

Unfortunately, it’s a lot like trying to figure out how long your brain functions after your head is chopped off. Seriously though, I’ve always thought of the MIMITW commercials as a clever rip on the Chuck Norris meme. In my mind, because the Chuck Norris jokes not only came first, but have also so permeated our culture that virtually everyone gets the reference, he wins out. As such, I can make a reference to Chuck Norris easily; I probably could with MIMITW and most would get it, but it’s also a much more cumbersome thing to say. Besides, in a heads up match, where one man is the most interesting man on a planet which does include being a badass in his own right, the other is the biggest badass in the universe. When it comes down to one versus the other, the only thing that matters is badassness. So, if Chuck Norris faces the MIMITW in 10 rounds of Queensbury rules… Chuck Norris wins 11 rounds. ---

Chuck Norris was the first most people heard about. I think the Vin Diesel jokes were first, by the same creator. I know I saw VD jokes before CN jokes; that’s my minor internet cred ;). They followed in the same manner as CN jokes. All of these seem in homage to “Bill Brasky” from Saturday Night Live. ---
