that chupacabras could possibly be exaggerated reports of hideous dogs (the pic of zombi-dog Sam inspired that thought.) ---

Much to the surprise and disappointment of all, the alleged chupacabra [turned out just to be a hairless coyote.](http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/11/02/chupacabra.ap/index.html) I, for one, am very disappointed; I really thought we had the bastard this time. Oh well. I guess I’ll console myself by investigating the latest Yeti sighting. ---

[/QUOTE] I was about to say you could just get the kids some custom-made shirts with pictures of [Sam](http://www.samugliestdog.com/) on them and tell them he’s Chupacabra, but the downside is they would never sleep with the lights off again.
