So last time I filled a script it was $65 for three pills…I only wanted to buy one pill today and they wanted $55. WTF is going on? ---

I’m not sure where you live, but it is normally around $20 per tablet. I’ve never tried to buy one tablet- I mean, how on earth are you ever certain that you will get lucky anyway? ---

Perhaps the store assumes that if someone is buying just one, it’s an emergency, and the buyer will pay any price. ---

Have you checked goodrx to see what prices and discounts are available? Someone (I believe **WhyNot** ) mentioned it in a thread a bit ago, and I checked it out. Was able to download a vendor coupon that dropped at $150 script down to $20. It lets you play with quantities and dosages, and displays costs at a bunch of pharmacies. ---

How, and why, would you attempt to fill a scrip for only three? My understanding is that it’s a maintenance drug, not a single dose thing. And hell, I’m cancelling my scrip cause $115 a month in perpetuity is not a good value. ---

A really, really strong ‘me too’ on this - Goodrx is a godsent to folks without drug insurance, and a damned good backup for those of use who take a friggin’ cocktail of 'script drugs every day. My insurance will cover a huge part of the cost for \*almost/i] of the drugs I prefer, but not on some. A 90 days/year restriction on a $150/mo drug will send me to Goodrx - I printed a coupon and the guy at the pharmacy window didn’t even blink - just punched the info into the machine. If you need a 'script drug USE GoodRx. Period. Even if you have dialup AND need to pay someone to print it for you - use it! They also can be emailed, if you have the address. ---

I just opened the goodrx website to try it. It shows $430 to $450 for 10 20mg Cialis pills. That’s $43 to $45 PER PILL! Holy shyte! Do people really pay that much? BTW, It shows the same price for 10 10mg pills, so there is no price difference between 10mg and 20mg pills. ---

Where I live, last I checked, Indian-made Viagra lookalikes sell for about $4 for four 100 mg tabs, i.e. about 33 cents per dose. I can attest to effectiveness. The generic Cialis equiv. is about $3 per pill, IIRC.
