# Circumcision...WHEEE!

I know that a Mohel (Circumciser) berforms the Jewish ritual Bris (the Circumcision).  
How does a guy get into this business?  
Passed on from father to son? Apprenticeship?  
Does a beginner Mohel start right away on his first baby, or does he practice on them little miniature hot dogs?

I believe _mohels_ must go through a training and certification program, but I’m sure someone more familiar will be along to explain it.
