Individual 1’s reaction to Facebook keeping his ban: The former president called Facebook, and Google a “disgrace and embarrassment” to the US, accusing them of taking away the free speech of the president. His latest plan seems to be posting things on his own site that he encourages followers to repost on Facebook and Twitter. On one hand, it _seems_ like it could/should work, but OTOH, does it have the same cachet if it’s secondhand? I mean, reading what Trump says directly and in the moment vs. what some random yahoo you may not even know says he does feels like two different things. I’m thinking that the difference is big enough that he can’t regain his internet clout that way. ---
