[This](http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/3584285.stm) Bill has just been passed by the House of Lords here in the UK. Gay couples now have the same rights in the UK as hetrosexual ones. [Link](http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4020249.stm) to story about it being passed. ---

That’s a great start, and congratulations to the people of the UK! I liked reading the comments at the end of the BBC article as well. I know it’s a generalization, but I liked how the British could say the same hateful things as we keep hearing in America, but word it so much more pleasantly. “This kind of thing makes me very cross.” ---
