The good news: CNN got Ms. Carroll and her lawyers leaving court and going to her car. The bad news: The camera was so far back that viewers mostly got the back of the other reporters’ heads. ---

My jury found verdict for the plaintiff in US District Court in California in 2016. They said the punitive damages were too high relative to compensatory. I think they said it was due to eminent domain or something akin to that. Maybe that would apply here. ---
