I refuse to buy Civ games until they come out in the “complete” edition. Yeah, this means that I’m going to be behind everyone else. But I’ll be ahead on money.
I think that I’m done with Civ, anyway. Each time I buy a new one, it’s a pain to install, and usually requires tech support. I don’t enjoy spending several hours just trying to install a frigging game, even if I DO get many, many hours of enjoyment afterwards. Games should be ready to run right out of the box.
