I don’t see why Guinness wouldn’t be permitted to be dubious about all the adulation for a frankly over-rated film. ---

O my word!! A discussion of “cultural literacy” about “movies” and , “actors”? \ Have we really descended so far? Culture is found in the libraries and private collections of “Those Who Matter” and the Symphonies and Ballets of which they are the patrons. Occasionally these works are shared by loaning it to a museum because “decent people” are generous and kind and wish to share the beauty they see (even if it won’t be understood). Hey, if you’re up anyway, would ya grab me a Bud and crank up the tunes? I love Foghat!! And Bart Starr was Ringo’s brother you morons. ---

Just want to say that I think that Sir Alec Guiness was not only a superb actor but was indeed a legend. Also I’ve heard of Charlie Chaplin,Buster Keaton,Bill Hayley,and for that matter Beethoven and Handel and I’m not that old.
