I know he isn’t canon, but Peter Cushing was my first Doctor and holds a special place in my heart for that. That he was also in all my favorite Hammer horror flicks only made it cooler.

This movie was my first exposure to _Dr. Who_ back in maybe 1970 or so(yeah, I was an American kid in the late '60’s and early '70’s) - I never even heard of the TV show until several years later when they started running episodes on our local PBS station. My love for the movie Doctor remains therefore pure and untainted.

Was it good? I never fall asleep before 3 a.m. - and of course I fell asleep last night at 12:59 a.m. :mad:.
