That Smell - Lynyrd Skynyrd. Love it, every time (especially when the back up singers come in with ‘hell yeah’, that’s usually when I remember to turn it up). Actually, I really like most Lynyrd Skynyrd songs, at least the ones on the radio. Hell, I don’t care how sick of Freebird you are, that’s a pretty amazing solo in the middle of it. ---

Someone mentioned “Ride My See Saw” by the Moody Blues. And I thought I was the only person who cranks that one up. “Hey Joe” by Jimi Hendrix. The guitar solo and the walk up the bass in the middle is magical. Definitely Hendrix’s “All Along the Watchtower.” I have said many times that I could hear that song every day for the rest of my life and never tire of it. In fact, I told my wife that if I go first I want it played at my funeral. “With You There to Help Me” from Jethro Tull’s excellent “Benefit.” It’s Tull of the first order. “Talk Talk” by the long-forgotten 60s psychedelic group The Music Machine. Way ahead of its time. ---
