I fully agree with Neutronstar…the radio stations kill “classic rock” by playing nothing but the “hits”. Often these are not the best of the best. How many more times do we need to hear “Free Bird” when we could be listening to “The Ballad of Curtis Lowe”. Why must we have to always hear “Walk This Way” when we could be jamming to “Walk the Dog”.
Radio pretty much sucks anyway.

Gosh, I don’t think that it’s making a comeback – it’s all the way back. If anything it may collapse on itself due to overplay of the same old tracks.
One of my favorites is Supertramp’s “The Logical Song”. I can truthfully say that I’ve heard it enough.
“Hotel California” is classic, classic, classic. But the Eagles did a lot of stuff that’s worth a listen.
Play more Little River Band. Throw in some Edgar Winter. Play any cut from the original soundtrack of “Hair”. And when’s the last time anyone heard from Cream on one of these “classic” stations?
Let’s mix it up a bit. Give us more variety.
