# Clay Aiken running for congress again in NC

This district is very blue so the primary winner should easily win in Nov.

The previous Dem guy did nothing since he won easily every time. He did not bother to campaign. The GOP set this up so that other districts are more red

Hmm, don’t know what his credentials are. I suspect there will be other more seasoned challengers but we’ll see if name recognition alone gets him to the finish line.

If they are going to pack districts, I say let’s send in a progressive firebrand to balance out the crazy on the far right. Getting someone really savvy and good on the attack would be valuable. I’m not sure a “let’s all get along” type will accomplish anything.

The primary has a few local pols running so he’s not a lock to win it. It could go to a runoff.
