# Clearwater FL family trip advice

I’ll be at Clearwater, FL for a conference in August (1st time there, and 2nd time at FL ever).

I’m considering combining that with a family trip. Will the family have things to do while I’ll be at thee conference (3 days)? I don’t want them to have to travel too far. A brief search online revealed mostly beach activities, which are nice – but I’d rather have more options available.

So, any recommendation for family activities (children’s museums, amusement parks, other “must see” sites) will be welcomed.
