I must say that one of my favorite pastimes is listening to intelligent men engage in intelligent conversation. The range and depth of knowledge of Dopers is amazing! I don’t think they touched on a single topic that anybody (but me!) wasn’t well-versed in. It’s evenings like this that reaffirm my faith in men!
\*\*Vanilla \*\* I wish you could have stayed longer…we barely got to talk! And I’m sure you would have loved to hear the Akron/Cleveland population density debate!
I know it may be hard to believe, but I really found in fascinating! And the regional accents topic is a favorite of mine, but I couldn’t begin to contribute. Maybe I need to get out more! Oh, and we left when they started shutting off the TV’s. I was out of there by 11:15, but **Elmwood and MisterThryistor** were still deep in conversation in the parking lot!

After three or so years here, I just ordered my SDMB shirt and mug. 🙂
It truly was a pleasure meting you all. Like all Dopefests, this one also took place in a time warp; got there at 6:00 PM and left at 11:15, but what seemed to me like two or so hours later. Maybe I should have had more Dortmunder.

Not a problem. The doctor says the bruises should go down so that I can lie on my left hip by Christmas. 😛
Actually, I don’t recall anyone having to “tolerate” GrizzCub. He was quite well-mannered throughout the evening, despite being stuck in a bar surrounded by boring adults droning on about the arcane.
